Where are you going to college? And Why?

I decided to attend Hamilton College because it has great academics as well as a good soccer team.

What are you most excited for?

I am most excited to play soccer at a high level.

What was the recruitment process like?

Coaches came to games and ID camps that I played in. If I told them I was interested in their school, they would make time to watch me play to see if I would be a good fit for their program. If they wanted to pursue me as a player they would email me. If they were extremely interested, they contacted me first without me talking to them at all.

Do you have any advice for our athletes who want to pursue soccer in college?

Always work hard! Even if you are good in your area or club, that doesn't mean you will be the best elsewhere. Also, if you do make a collegiate team the first year, work even harder because there's a good chance a freshman may take your spot if you get lazy.

How did PTS help raise your level of play?

PTS helped me to improve my footwork on and off the ball, especially to get a better feel for delicate touches. My shot technique improved greatly as well.

What’s the best advice anyone has given you?

Practice deliberately. Always have a purpose. Don't do reps just to do reps.
